3/27/13 Education and Training  High School Diploma and/or a GED for application to entry level jobs.  Equipment Technicians’ technical training lasts from a few months to a year. Hands on experience in an AV club in high school or college can help.  Broadcasting Technicians’ training at a college or vocation al school.  Sound Engineering Technicians’ training comes from a vocational program. Most Technicians have an associates degree.  Persons interested in this field should complete high school math and physics. They should also have excellent computer skills.

What they do Regulate and adjust sound and video equipment during concerts, radio/ TVbroadcasts and other performances. Record speech, music and other sounds on recording equipment. Install audio, video andlighting equipment in new buildings. Edit video and sound. Repair equipment.

electrical, electronic, and some mechanical systems

Hotel industry is growing, it will continue to grow in the future. Hotel chains and franchises are growing. Recession hurt the industry a couple of years ago. Less business

trips and vactions were planed When the economy is good, the hotel indusrty is good. Always room for advancement. If you are willing to relocate you

can get involved with bigger management companies.
