The Click Conserve & Care (3C) has been transcended into a platform to unite people across the globe by encouraging them to showcase the blend of their unique culture along with the environments and physical spaces.

The 3C program thrives on the principles of sustainability which is reflective in the entire modus operandi, as one of the leading E initiative, the program with the aid of digital technology has successfully accomplished the purpose of bringing together diverse blend of people across the globe.

The 3C program of 2015 has provided us with an opportunity to connect with large audience of people situated across the globe by engaging with them and understanding their perspectives and concerns towards society. We aspire to make 3C program a crucial medium for people to convey their deep rooted and significant messages by sharing their images depicting the varied challenges surrounding them within their social, environment and cultural contexts.

We align the overall theme of the program in sync with the broader theme as proposed by UNEP WED, and for the year 2015 the 3C theme "Preserving our Future" further enhanced the UNEP WED 2015 title “Seven Billion Dreams. One Planet. Consume with Care.” Our endeavor was to bring at the forefront the concept of sustainability by relooking at those traditional and conventional practices, way of life which continue to be in harmony with entire ecosystems of the world.

One of the most awaited programs of GlobalHunt Foundation is “Click, Conserve & Care" - (3C), a global digital photograph initiative which is held every year to support the World Environment Day (WED) of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). To further strengthen our commitment in sustainable responsibility and creating sustainable solutions, I am pleased to assert that the 3C initiative is an innovative program that has successfully managed to place people, places and problems of the world on a universal platform and inspires every global citizen to engage and from solutions to mitigate the potential challenges that will affect our planet and its people in the coming times. Let me read you through some of the salient and significant features of the 3C initiative, something as How we did it? :-

Since the 3C initiative coincided with the celebration of World Environment Day, we believed that it will be appropriate to conduct the overall modality of the program in an environmentally sustainable manner. Hence, we conceived an open platform in form of a website www.globalhuntfoundation.org/3CContest with ease of access, this IT mechanism enabled enthusiastic participants to submit their photographs through a simplified submission form.

It also aided the organizers to collate the worldwide entries received in huge numbers and ensured updates pertaining to the contest details, themes, rules and communication with the contestants, in a timely manner. Most significantly, we ensured that the certificates and the outcome report of the 3C initiative too were published in a soft copy version.

With a feeling of renewed zeal and zest, we kicked off the IInd Annual series 2015 of the 3C program with a strong aim to unite the world by opening the contest to people across all ages, religion, race, gender and regions from all over the globe.

holistic manner and addressing the diverse contours of sustainability through its products and its operations.

We completed our cycle of the program by involving sponsor such as The Himalaya Drug Company which has deeply extended its commitments towards consciously inculcating social responsibility by conducting business in a

The contest received an overwhelming response from our enthusiastic participants across the globe such as Ireland, Poland, Philippines, Russia, Italy, Iran, South Africa, Philippines, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Canada, Iraq, United States., Lithuania, Lebanon, United Kingdom, Portugal, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, UAE and many more. With more than 100 diverse photographs received, the program emerged as a significant platform of peer learning through sharing of each other's regional, cultural and environmental contexts.

The winners were selected through rigorous and intense screening processes, through a declaration form duly signed by the participants we ensured that the participants certify that the photographs submitted were their original piece of work.

After several screening processes, our judging panel comprising of leading young and senior experts from the domain of sustainability, photography, media and communications carefully examined the photographs on diverse parameters such as relevancy, angle, expressions, uniqueness, innovation and adherence to contest

Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Instagram, WhatsApp - the list connecting us to technology is endless. We spend all our free time networking, conversing and reading online. While technology has become our constant companion, sometimes even replacing real relationships, our world is turning grey with every passing day. Our new reality is cement blocks replacing green lands, vanishing ecosystems and depleting water tables. In pursuit of peace, the newest luxury is holidaying in green spaces. But who is taking responsibility for the graying of our globe?

Himalaya’s dream has always been about making people happier and healthier around the world. While fulfilling this dream, we are doing everything possible to make sustainable business choices environmentally and socially. From reducing our carbon footprint to reshaping the dreams of Indian prisoners through our CSR initiatives, we have been taking responsibility to dream big and deliver with care. Because, we see how our dream has the power to cause a paradigm shift in society.

The expression of our dreams has the power to influence our nation. Let us make a conscious choice to express our dreams in harmony with our planet. It is this choice that will become the legacy for future generations.

We began the Click Consere & Care jourey with an overarching vision to bring together people, spaces, cultres, environment, heritage across the globe. Our prime focus was to conduct the entire project in a sustainable manner and the digital medium enabled us to overcome the physical boundaries and enhance our outeach among people worldwide. The 3C project as it is fondly been tered is an innovative and democratic initiative that encourages people across all age goups and all counties to come forard and submit their arorks. The year 2015 holds a special sigificance as we decided to perceive environment with an unconventional lens. Our aim was to move beyond the usual presumptions of visualizing environment with a unilateral thinking.

We sought to bring the "people" component in the entire discourse of environment and adopting a holistic view involving social, cultral, political, economic along with the physical aspects of environment. Therefore, we consciously emphasized on key themes which are intinsic to the overall puriew of environment and the United Nations Environment Progamme Theme 2015 - Seven Billion Lives. We attempted our best to innovatively exend it to diverse themes such as Preseration & Cultre, Peace & Conflict, People & Planet, Production & Consumption.

All the above themes reflect the contemporar settings, diverse challenges being faced by the world and the arorks submitted by the paricipants allude to the responsibilit, actions and practices continued by people across the world that will bear an immediate and immense impact on the settings in which they reside at present. It is therefore a responsibilit of each and ever world citizen to measure, think and obsere the kind of impact that they would like to set as a precedent for their coming generations.

All lives mattersThis was a photo taken in Baltimore during the Freddie Gray riots. I live about a mile from where they started and of course everyone in our community was affected. In Fells Point Baltimore there was a building that the tenants had put signs in every window in support of the “black lives matter” movement. Oddly enough, the entire Fells Point community was not too happy about the display, more then a few people came up to me as I was taking the pictures. Right in the middle of the set up, 2 men, one black one white just happened to be walking down the sidewalk laughing having a good time completely oblivious to all the fuss around them….it was just pure luck that they walked directly in front of the building and the signs laughing and just being friends. It was a perfect dichotomy of the strife that we are facing. Many of us like those two simply dont see color and it does not factor into how we treat someone or if we choose to be their friends or not. They served as a perfect reminder of how similar we all are and how much alike we all are if we can just stop seeing a white guy or a black man and just seeing…”a man”.

That Old FeelingThe myth of the industrialized city, the city life and the comfort of modernity, have meant that the last decades have been characterized by a progressive abandonment of rural towns, with the consequent detachment from the work based on the ability manual for the cold mechanics. Life - CycleThe lady in the picture is from a rural part of West Bengal, India. She earns her livelihood and feeds her family by making beautiful handmade potteries. Her daughter is studying in the school but still interested in the techniques involved in the process of making. Whenever the girl gets spare time she comes and sits beside her mother. They are spending a happy moment during the course of work. This is a form of handicraft and requires extreme skillfulness. The geometric pattern of the potteries and the bonding between the two people leads us to the beginning of a story.Color tone, mood, light also helped to give the picture an art form.
