Cast
About the Cast
Micaela Cornett (Cecily Cardew ) is a 27 year old Project De-
signer in Webster Texas. She wastes what little free time she has on
Opera classical literature and a particularly rambunctious dog
Benjamin Ashton (Algernon Moncrief) is a Pasadena native
and this is his debut at CCCT. He was last seen at PLT in the farce
Never Too Late. He is very excited to be working with this very
talented cast and crew and looks forward to more productions here .
Willy Devlin (Merriman) has appeared at Clear Creek Communi-
ty Theatre as Dr. Bradley in The Man Who Came To Dinner,
Martini/Gower in It's a Wonderful Life, the Doctor/Old Man in
Macbeth, and Howie Newsome in Our Town. He also portrayed Colo-
nel Kinkaid in Knights of the White Magnolia and Paddy in The Hairy
Ape. He has performed at Harbour Playhouse in Southern Hospitality
and Frankenstein. He appeared in The Curious Savage at Pasadena
Little Theater. At College of the Mainland he performed in Requiem
for a Heavyweight and Picasso at the Lapin Agile.
About the Cast Julia Jay (Miss Prism) is appearing on the CCCT stage for the sec-
ond time; the first was as Dr. June Heidelburg in Murder’s Bad, but
Monday Can Kill You. She is thrilled to be back working with such a
talented cast, crew, and director. She has appeared in several local
theatres; recently she played Maria in Twelfth Night at Baytown Little
Theatre. In her “spare” time, she tutors in the Writing Center at San
Jacinto College Central; she also sings with the college’s Concert
Choir. Besides acting, singing, and writing, she has recently begun
kayaking, buying her first boat last summer. In addition, she writes
press releases for BLT and serves on the theatre’s play reading com-
mittee. She and her husband, JL, love to travel, visiting many places in
the world; their favorite trip would have to be the Greek Islands. She
thanks her family and friends for their encouragement and love.
Jenny Klonizchii (Gwendolen Fairfax) is pleased to be back at
CCCT, having just performed in Plaza Suite (Jean McCormick, Mim-
sey Hubley). Jenny is a graduate of the University of Houston's School
of Theatre and Dance with an emphasis in Acting and Directing. Fa-
vorite credits include: Grease (Rizzo), A Midsummer Night's
Dream (Helena), and Hairspray (Amber). She also performs with
Murder Mystery Texas. Jenny would like to thank Andy for giving her
this wonderful opportunity to play Gwen, one of the roles she has al-
ways dreamed of playing!
Colin Peters (Lane) is surprised to be on stage again at CCCT,
considering what happened last time. But the stage was rebuilt, and the
pink flamingos are healing fine. All is well.
About the Cast
Special Thanks to FastSigns Webster
Katie Reed (Lady Bracknell) first appeared at
CCCT sometime in the 1980s in Bus Stop since then she has ap-
peared in many of our productions including: Kiss Me Kate, It’s a
Wonderful Life, Our Town, Black Comedy, Deathtrap, Meshuggah-
Nuns, and has directed Noises Off, Hello Dolly, Ankle Deep in
Rough Water and Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean… Katie
has appeared in over 60 productions in Houston area theatres, as
well as, a few NYC Off-Off-Broadway productions. Lady Brack-
nell is, by far, her favorite role of all. "I hope the audience enjoys
watching this production even half as much as I enjoy performing
it. Oscar Wilde’s beautiful language, and Andy Crossman’s
dynamic directing have made this an experience of a life time.”
Tim Raeke, (Dr. Chasuble) is excited to be sharing the stage
with such a talented cast for this fabulous play. Tim began acting in
2002 when his daughter auditioned for a show, which coincidentally
needed men. He was cast, but unfortunately his daughter wasn’t.
Over the past ten years he has had the pleasure of performing at the
College of the Mainland’s Arena Theatre, Café 21 Theatre at Franca’s
Real Italian Restaurant, Clear Creek Community Theatre, Pasadena
Little Theatre, Art Park Players, and Obsidian Art Space. Tim loves
character roles, which allow him to stretch his acting abilities, try on
new quirky personalities, and in many cases wear interesting head-
gear. His favorite roles include Barefoot in the Park (Victor Velasco),
Black Comedy (Harold Gorringe), The Seven Keys (Woody), The Mu-
sical Comedy Murders of 1940 (Roger Hopewell), and A Bad Year
For Tomatoes (Piney). In real life, Tim has had the pleasure of hav-
ing worked with penguins in Baltimore and Galveston, synthesizing
DNA at Johns Hopkins, and portraying Dr. Robert Goddard (the Fa-
ther of American Rocketry) and Pete Conrad (the third man to walk
on the moon) at Space Center Houston. He is currently awaiting his
next interesting experience that he can then cross off his bucket list.
Andrea Crossman is happy to make her return to directing this season
with this delightful Oscar Wilde comedy which she fell in love with as a
child. Andrea began her hands-on theatre education here in 2005 when she
and her son Sean Taylor became regular volunteers and her directorial debut
came in 2009 with Arsenic and Old Lace. Her directorial credits also include
An Ideal Husband, Miracle on 34th Street, as well as Aspirin and Elephants
all at CCCT, her home theatre.
Andrea is newly wed to husband James Crossman who supports her fully in
her theatrical endeavors but is looking forward to having his wife back
soon. The two will be celebrating their first year of marriage in May. They
live with their two teenage sons in League City where Andrea works as a
mail carrier.
Andrea would like to express her gratitude for all the talented and supportive
people that have assisted her with this production including University of
Houston Associate Dean Samuel Gladden who offered insight and inspira-
tion, her mother Julie Mattheaus from whom Andrea is convinced she re-
ceived all her creative talent, Assistant Director Kay Lunn for being her as-
sistant in every aspect of this production and dear friend Aprille Meek who
has continually supported her in life both inside and outside of the theatre.
Most of all she would like to thank her husband for his understanding and
encouragement.
About the Cast
Our Director
Mark Stanley(John/Jack/Ernest Worthing) is excited to be
part of this production. You may remember Mark as Sir Robert
Chiltern in CCCT's 2010 production of Oscar Wilde's An Ideal
Husband. Or more recently, Constable Jones in Agatha Christie's
Spider's Web or Lennox in CCCT's 2011 production of Shakespeare's
Scottish play, you know the one. As always, Mark is thrilled to be
working with Andrea Crossman and the rest of this great cast. It's been
a real challenge, but one of immense fun. Mark is also Facilities Man-
ager at Pasadena Little Theatre. He would like to thank Andrea Cross-
man for giving him yet another opportunity to bring to life another of
Mr. Wilde's characters. Mark would also like to thank the small army
of seamstresses. Namely, costumer, Julie Mattheaus and his own moth-
er, you may call her Mrs. Stanley, for creating his wonderful "play
clothes" you see on stage. He hopes you enjoy this and every other
production here at CCCT.

First Kisses
In this prize winning love story we follow the lives of Mary and John as they grow up and grow old together, from the age of 11
to seventy-two. It starts with their first kiss, when John’s hamster dies, and continues through all their joys and losses, bad dresses
and old girlfriends.
