“I had been mentoring Power Assure and was tremendously impressed by their technology, team, and plan. At a break in a Cleantech Open meeting, I introduced myself to Josh Rafaelli in a chance meeting in the hallway at WSGR. We talked and he mentioned he was a VC at DFJ.
I gave a short pitch for Power Assure and that led to our first meeting at DFJ, at which Donnie Foster did an outstanding job. With support from Clemens Pfeiffer [another Cleantech Open mentor], they converted that meeting into seed funding and that led in turn to this $2.5M Series A.”
