with all fields matched to your database○ Consider outsourcing data import

internal deduping tool – don’t do this manually!
○ Dedupe at least 2x per year
LYBUNT and SYBUNT○ LYBUNTs are donors who gave
Last Year But Unfortunately Not This year
○ SYBUNTs are donors who gave Some Year But Unfortunately Not This year
Board Giving○ Do you have a board
giving policy? ○ Use Pledges to record
and billboard gifts ○ Build a board-giving report and discuss with
Board Chair○ Issue regular statements to remind board
members of their commitment
Steward Donors○ Put notes with your DB, not with email!○ Some systems allow fwd emails to your
DB – explore this!○ Record ‘next actions’ for top donors.○ Construct a series of ‘moves’ or steps,
for each major donor○ A stewardship report is a to-do list
