We are honored to share our story page by page as you consider the placement of your child. We can’t begin to understand what you must be going through as you sit in this space. We acknowledge the courage you have shown to reach this point. We want you to know that we are moved beyond words by your bravery.

Know that we are praying for you. We are asking the Creator of the Universe to bring you comfort and peace throughout this process. We believe you are showing the greatest love imaginable for the sweet life growing inside of you. We have great hope that somehow the love we long to give a child will be displayed through this process.

adoptingwhy we’re

In 2015, our first nephew was born and it unlocked a part of our hearts that we did not know existed. From that moment, we knew we were ready to begin

growing our family. We had a strong desire to get pregnant, but we also felt the call to grow our family through adoption. We didn’t know that we would spend the next 4.5 years waiting and praying. In 2019, we found out that we would not be able to conceive children without fertility treatments. After spending almost

an entire year praying, we felt strongly that we were not supposed to pursue fertility treatments, but rather said yes to the call to adopt. We knew there was

a baby out there that needed us as much as we wanted him or her.

our storyThe story of us began in 2013. Andrea

had just came home from college for the summer and decided to attend a

Bible study with her best friend. The Bible study just so happened to be

led by Clay. While neither of us were really looking for a relationship, we were both drawn to each other. We

went on our first date just 1 month later and got married the following year in

October 2014. We have spent the past 5.5 years fully devoted to each other

and our marriage. When we aren’t at work, we spend nearly every moment together. In our free time, we attend

church activities together, cook, exercise, enjoy Netflix, work on home

projects, and so much more. We are truly each other’s favorite person and

love each other unconditionally.

our homeWe purchased this house in 2015 in our small Kentucky town. We live in a perfectly rural area where family is around every corner. Our home is nestled in the Appalachian mountains, quiet and secluded but still close to town. It is the best of both worlds. Andrea’s parents live just minutes away. We are blessed to spend a lot of time with them and look forward to growing our family with grandparents so nearby. We are also located close to the church Clay is privileged to pastor. We love to host people in our home to enjoy time or a meal together.

We love our home! We have been doing small renovations throughout the home since purchasing and have enjoyed turning it from a house to our dream home. It is a three bedroom home with a backyard surrounded by woods ready to be explored.

our work

Clay is currently the pastor at our local church. He was called into ministry 12 years ago and hasn’t

looked back. He recently stepped into the role of Lead Pastor after serving as

the Associate Pastor for many years.

Andrea is currently a Special Education Teacher in a middle

school. She became a teacher in 2014 and has enjoyed every moment of it. Over the past 6 years, she has taught

every subject, but math is her favorite.

We are honored that God would choose to use us to spread the good news of Jesus. We are forever grateful for the opportunity to impact our community and help bring people in to the

kingdom of God.

our friendsWe have been blessed with friends from all over the world. Many of our friends have small children or are just starting to grow their family. Most of our evenings and weekends are spent with our friends somewhere close by.
