Q: What do I consider being on time?A: Being on time means that you are in your seat when the bell rings and working on your daily journal.
BE ON TIME
• Enter the room, get your journal, and go directly to your assigned seat.
• Once you are seated, begin to write on the daily journal prompt.
• You will write for (about) five minutes. It is important that you start writing as soon as you can!
• Journals will be collected and graded each Friday. • Writings are two points a day (10 points a week). • If you miss a class, you must still write an entry.
HOW TO START CLASS
• When correcting papers in class, pass your paper to the person behind you (last person passes to the front person).
• Always use red pen (assignments should never be written in red).
• Total the number wrong from the bottom of each page and write the total on top of the first page.
• Always sign the bottom of the paper you corrected!
PAPER CORRECTION
• Pass papers forward • Front row: pass the papers to the right• Place the papers in the basket
HANDING IN PAPERS
• Corrected work will be placed in the class folders
• If you are looking for work that has not been handed back in class, check the folder.
