Classroom Rules and Regulations

ATTENDANCE- A student shall be punctual and regular in class attendance. Punctuality means arriving at the assigned classroom on time.

TARDINESS: 2.1 Beyond 15 minutes of the scheduled time a students is considered absent. Warning will be given by the instructor concerned. Excuse letters duly signed by the chairman the following day.

2.2 Habitual tardiness-being late 5 consecutive times. The students is asked to present an excuse letter duly signed by the Chairman and Dean.

3. ABSENCES State of being beyond 15 minutes or failure to attend classes or scheduled activities.

3.1 For any absences an excuse letter is to be provided to the chairman through the teacher concerned.

3.2 An absence maybe considered excuse on the following reasons:a. Illness (if hospitalized)b. Natural disasterc. Accidents

3.3 Absences due to illness- An excuse letter should be accompanied by a medical certificate from the attending physician.

3.4 More consecutive unexcused absences for each semester will cause a student to be dropped.5. CONDUCT Students are expected to show due respect to school officials, instructors, personnel, co- students and visitors at all times.6. PUNISHABLE ACTSThe following acts are forbidden and will be dealt with accordingly.

6.1 fighting or brawling or boisterous laughing, whistling or heckling others.

6.2 Smoking inside college premises

6.3Defacing/vandalizing school property

6.4 Possessing or circulating pornographic articles/ magazines

6.5 Stealing and/or pickpocketing

6.6 Carrying deadly weapons e.g. gun or any bladed weapon

6.7 Flagrant insubordination

6.8 Assault on the person of school authorities

6.9 Tampering or counterfeiting records of importance

6.10 Gambling, intoxicating and possession or use of prohibited drugs.CHEATINGZero for the exam or quiz
