Girls Magazine CosmopolitanColour theme:

Use’s loads of bright, vagrant colours such as pink, yellow and purple which shows a feminine touch to the magazine. It makes it more prettier and shows more attraction to women.

Fonts:The fonts are usually more classy and fancy or more girly mostly also showing a feminine touch. Making the magazine look more like a girl magazine.

The front covers usually shows tips such as:*how to flatten your belly*how to look sexy*how to make yourself look more appealingThese type of tips you wont see in a men’s magazine’s.

Girls/women’s magazines usually idols/stars on the front page usually buyers would like to be like and put them in sexy clothing which female buyers think they should look like.They put images such as

clothing’s, make up and hair products that all relates to a women.

Boys magazines GQ:Colour theme:It’s mostly more of a plain colour theme compared to a girls magazine the colours they use most are blue, white and grey and it’s not as colourful and looks more mellowed and relaxed.

The front cover usually has sportsman or idols men look up too being smart and all classy a real lady’s man.

Sometimes they will have a women on the front page which would be probably be more sexy with less clothes on which wouldn’t be on a girls magazine because its more appealing to men. Or when it’s a man on the front cover they would be in a suit showing class and mostly what a hetro-sexual would wear.

It has more manly stuff such as sports, clothes and things that relates to men more.

Fonts:They mostly use bold fonts in there magazines not as girly as it looks more masculine.
