FOR THE YEAR 2019 BOARD OF SUPERVISOR’S MINUTE BOOK CHEROKEE COUNTY, IOWA FEBRUARY 12, 2019 The Cherokee County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 with Dennis Bush, Rick Mongan, Gary Lundquist, Duane Mummert, and Wane Miller present. There were no representatives from the press. William Gauthier, Keva Wolf, and Mark Murphy were also in attendance. Motion by Bush, second- ed by Miller to approve the 2019/2020 Proposed Budget for publication and set a Public Budget Hearing on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Room. Motion carried. The Proposed 2019/2020 Budget includes total taxes levied on property of $6,573,876 and tax rates per $1,000 taxable valu- ation of $4.52683 for urban areas and $7.97683 for rural areas. The supervisors provid- ed committee reports and reviewed meeting schedules.
