Jim Standish presented the 2020 Grant County DAC licenses and contract for ap-proval as well as the 2020 solid waste collec-tion license and contract with Engebretsen & Sons. A motion was made by Swanson seconded by LaValley and carried to approve the 2020 Grant County DAC licenses and contract as presented. Member of Otter Tail Power presented in-formation on a plan for a transmission line connecting the Elbow Lake substation to a site near Norcross and asked for approval of local review of the route vs review at the state-wide level. A motion was made by Walvatne seconded by LaValley and carried to close the meeting at 3:05 p.m. for the purpose of labor negotia-tion strategies. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Wa-ter Meter Improvements will be received by the Farwell-Kensington Sanitary District, at the offi ce of the Kensington City Clerk/Trea-surer, until 10:00 a.m. local time on March 9, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Work generally consists of the replacement of 164 water ser-vice meters, meter setters, encoders, meter reading equipment, a desktop computer, and installation of billing software and a printer. This project is funded through USDA Rural Development loan and grant funds, as well as State of MN Water Infrastructure Fund funds.Bids will be received for a single prime Con-tract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
