If you do any of the three things you can receive items to use as incentives to get positive participation in your program. NRC hopes the incentives we provide will increase and maintain attendance at your classes. If you do home visits we are hopeful the incentives we provide to share with your clients will help to make the visits easier. If you have clients coming to appointments we provide items you can use as incentives to help ensure those clients show up. Service Coordinators are in charge of putting together orders, scheduling delivery trucks, and answering any questions you may have about requests or new items in the warehouse. Once the Service Coordinator receives your request they will review it and determine which service you are utilizing and which items best fit your needs. They will then call you and go over each item and give you an approximate delivery date and answer any additional questions you may have.

Your Service Coordinator and week of delivery will depend on what area you are located in:

Area 1 (Ed)– 1st week of the month

Area 2 (Tracy)– 2nd week of the month

Area 3 (Ed)– 3rd week of the month

Areas 4&5 (Tracy)– 4th week of the month

Items we send to Residential facilities: Cleaning Supplies– All purpose cleaner, brooms, dustpans, etc.

Personal Care Items– shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.

Laundry Supplies– detergent, stain remover tabs, powder bleach, etc.

Clothing (when available)– shirts, pants, socks, etc.

Furniture (when available)- couches, chairs, mattresses, etc.

FREE NRC TRAINING SERVICES

Assisting NRC Program Partners to become more

professionally effective in order to improve

their services and results

The 2012 NRC Training Services will start the new year with a double training session on Friday, January 13, 2012 in Rapid City from 9:30AM to 3:30PM. Please save this date on your calendars. This full day of training will include two ½ day sessions entitled:

“Communication is the Key” –This session will address ways of developing stronger communication skills in the workplace includ-ing listening and how to respond rather than react to situations; reading body language; intercultural communication and appropri-ate language in the workplace.

“Let’s Play Ball!” – this training will focus on team building in the workplace, creating “synergy” with staff; and developing skills in motivating staff and volunteers. The training location for this day will be announced later, but as always, the day will include a free luncheon, healthy snacks, a gift bag and a certificate of training. NRC provides products to residential facilities for use in the care and maintenance of the facility and for use by the residents. The facilities that NRC wants to assist are those that serve people in a residential setting. Most of these target facilities operate on tight budgets and cannot provide all of the items needed for the people who come to

their facility. NRC hopes that the products that NRC sends to the facility will help the facility save money that can then be used to purchase other items needed for the residents.

When NRC delivers the supplies, the residents and staff of the facility are asked to help unload the supplies from the truck. All of the facilities that participate in this service are encouraged to have the residents perform duties to help keep

the facility operating. These duties can include: cooking, cleaning, and working on the grounds area. However, NRC does not require that the residents volunteer in order to earn the products. In order to receive these supplies we ask

only that the partner fills out the one page request/report form monthly.
