America in the 19th Century Chinese imigrant Fatt Hing Chin sails to California to join the Gold

Rush. Chinese mass migration to America seeking freedom from imperial rule.

Declaration of Independence signed, but only applies to men with property. Growing pains in America concerning wars, rights, borders, slavery and conflicts with the natives.

Canada forges it’s own identity, different from it’s neighbor to the south. The war of 1812 unites the people of Canada and becomes a time for growth.

Juan Manuel de Rosas brings terror to the people in order to quell rebellions. Turmoil reins in Latin America through out the 19th century. Only independence is gained.

• 1801 The Future looks bleak for America. Spain, France and Britain are vying for pieces of America.• Napoleon was on a quest to dominate the World. An odd chain of events occur: yellow fever, snow storms that stall ships from moving troops and the island rebellion in Haiti, of which 30,000 men sent only 4,000 survive.•Thomas Jefferson calls his bluff and leaks a message that America will side with Britain if war begins. •Napoleon makes a hasty decision, and in need of money for his army, sells the Louisiana Territory for 15 million dollars. •August 17, 1803 the American flag is raised in New Orleans.
