A diicken dinner was served at noon, for which covered dishes were also brought by members. Everybody wrote a sentence in Katherine’s honor, and she w ^ presented with a gift from the class. Mrs. Scud- der left Saturday to spend the winter with her nephew and his wife. Rev. and Mrs. Russell Scud- der, at Munnsville, near Stock- bridge. James Finch killed a five-point deer near his home. Lloyd Hoyt shot a large nine-point deer at Kirksioe. It ran past while he was working. The Home Demonstration unit will hold their annual Christmas party with pinochle, gifts and re- freshments at 8 o’clock the eve- ning of Dec. 12. The unit will meet at 10:30 Tuesday, Dec. 10, to hold a meeting on gifts.
