Location and Climate
The Anasazi lived in the Mesa Verde (Four Corners)
The climate in the summer was warm and had some rain.
Home Structure and Family Structure
They lived in cliffs or they stacked bricks for a house
There was multiple families in one house or cliff.
Food
They ate corn , beans , squash , pumpkin, mountain sheep, turkeys, elk, mule deer, black bear, antelope, and squirrels. They were both hunters and gatherers.
Clothing and Tools
They wore breechcloths, deerskin moccasins, feather war bonnets, and butterfly whorls. They used spears, signal fires, and reflective obsidian slabs.
Religious Beliefs and Communication
They believed in gods such as Manabozho and Coyote. They were brothers. No writing system
Arts and Crafts
They wrote hieroglyphs on walls.
