Organizational Structure of the Sector for International Cooperation and Support to Civil Organizations and Foundations

The Department for Cooperation and Support of Civil Society Organizations and Foundations:

follows the activities of civil society organizations and foundations;

initiates and coordinates the cooperation with the civil society organizations and foundations in the areas under the jurisdiction of the city of Skopje;

proposes measures and activities to support the activities of the civil society organizations and foundations;

ensures the participation of civil society organizations and foundations in the procedure of preparing and proposing policies, strategic and developmentat documents under the authority of Skopje;

organizes the Forum of NGOs on an annual basis, where the civil society organizations and foundations present their proposals for cooperation with the city of Skopje, their positions and comments regarding the activities of the city of Skopje, their recommendations for improvement and their experiences from their cooperation with the city of Skopje

Main goal: To enable active inclusion of civil society organizations in the processes of defining the developmental activities and initiatives of the city of Skopje, as well as to create a foundation for the formation of efficient partnerships

The strategy is based on a model of long term cooperation with a synergetic build up of city and civil organizations’ resources
