The City of Logan is changing• Logan in 2014 is a dynamic, diverse and

proud community.

• The city is an ideal place for young families to grow, with some of the state’s best schools found in Logan.

• The city’s population is growing at 2.2% a year, with new town centres at Yarrabilba and Flagstone coming to life.

The City of Logan is ideally located• We are only 45 minutes away from two

international airports and are 20 minutes to the Port of Brisbane, with access to major road infrastructure on our doorstep.

• We are smack bang between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

• The community is young and vibrant, with more than 300,000 people calling Logan their home and enjoying a mix of urban and rural lifestyles.

• You can live in a townhouse, a family home or on a farm in Logan and we are an affordable place to live.

• Logan is the fifth largest local government area (population) in Australia.

• It covers 957 square kilometres.

rural, semi-rural or conservation.

• Logan has the lowest level of pollution in Australia (9 micrograms per cubic metre recorded at Springwood State High School; well below the Australian average of 13 micrograms per cubic metre).

• Logan is home to 924 parks, as well as world-renowned wetlands and bike trails.

Using Social Media is easyToday, we are more connected and engaged with each other than ever before. Social media has revolutionised the way the world communicates and generates ideas – but it’s nothing to be scared of.

Social media enables us to share ideas and information in an online global community where we can listen and respond to what others are saying about people and organisations we care
