About the Project The City of Corpus Christi is currently working with the Freese and Nichols planning team to create a new Padre/Mustang Island Area Development Plan. This Plan will give guidance for future development in the area and identify opportunities to improve existing facilities. The team will complete the Plan in approximately one year. Along with identifying the community’s unified vision for the future of the Island, the Plan will include conceptual drawings and implementation strategies to bring the ideas in the plan to reality. The community’s input is needed to create the plan and the community will have several opportunities to participate, including an online survey and community meetings.
