In accordance with an Order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16, 2020, the City Council of the City of Angleton, Texas will conduct the meeting scheduled on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 6:00 P.M., in person and open to the public at The City of Angleton Council Chambers located at 120 S. Chenango Street Angleton, Texas 77515. In order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called "social distancing") to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), seating will be limited to 50% Fire Code capacity or 24 people to allow for 6 feet of separation. Overflow into the hallway is allowed, but there will not be video or audio enhancement in this area.

Citizens who wish to attend the City Council Meeting in person must abide by the following requirements:

• Do not enter the building if you are having symptoms. Go home. • Maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet from other citizens. • Families or persons traveling together may sit together but maintain social distancing from others. • Face coverings are encouraged, but not mandatory.

The City will be using a telephone/video conferencing tool called ZOOM to make the meeting available to the public. You have several options to participate:

☐ Public Hearing ☐ Executive Session BUDGETED AMOUNT: FUNDS REQUESTED: FUND: N/A N/A N/A EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: On June 16, 2020, City Council, ABLC, Parks & Recreation Board and Lakeside Task Force met to discuss Lakeside Park pavilion scope of work. Clark Condon received feedback from all groups. Clark Condon visited Lakeside Park on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 to assess the park constraints and opportunities to begin preliminary layout of park elements and pavilion. On July 21, Clark Condon provided an overview of the constraints and opportunities of the park site based on the current park boundary, adjacent uses, utility locations, accessibility to the site, topography, sun angles and prevailing winds, three site plan options, and the best park element layout based on those opportunities and constraints. City Council, ABLC, Parks & Recreation Board and Lakeside Task Force provided feedback for the final park design. On September 15, Clark Condon presented a refined site plan and probable costs to City Council, ABLC, Parks & Recreation Board, and Lakeside Task Force for input. Overall consensus was to eliminate parking off of CR44, move the kayak launch to the main pavilion, eliminate the restrooms on the southern end of the park, keep the sandy beach bid alternate, add parking north of the main parking area on Enchanted Oaks Drive as a bid alternate, keep the overlook bid alternate, and keep the boulder bid add alternate.
