Strengths include: high resident satisfaction; safe, well maintained parks; fstrong and varied recreation programs.There are opportunities for Recreation and Parks to make a more visible fcontribution to community image and neighborhood identity.There is a need to fine-tune the facility mix based on recreation and fdemographic trends.There is a need to better connect the bike-walk system and make it safer. fThere is a need to continue to renovate parks to make them more welcoming, fsafer, and more reflective of the community’s diversity.There is a need to provide low mobility populations better physical and ffinancial access to parks and programs.
