Standardized Platform Speeds Access to Accurate Information Designed using SAP BusinessObjects, Enterprise Reporter includes a data warehouse and a SAP BusinessObjects reporting pack that gives users clear insight into the performance of job scheduling across the enterprise. Its data warehouse gathers the information needed by IT and business managers alike to troubleshoot, trend, and analyze job scheduling performance, enabling timely and accurate business decisions.

In addition to providing a reporting foundation, users can automate the business intelligence (BI) data loads from the Enterprise Scheduler database. Users can also run and distribute reports through the scheduler’s web interface, utilizing Cisco Tidal Enterprise Adapter for SAP BusinessObjects to do so. Top Items Reports – These job history reports help users prioritize problem management and performance tuning activities by identifying major contributors to inefficiencies in the batch processing environment, such as patterns of job failures and long-running jobs.

Audit and Compliance Reports – These reports document the “who,” “what,” “when,” “where,” and “why” of changes in the scheduling environment. They provide information on which to base change management as well as to conduct audit and compliance reporting.

Job Carryover Reports – These reports enable IT staff to identify, understand, and reduce job carryover, which can cause service level objectives to be missed.

Job Completion Status Reports – These reports provide a snapshot of the scheduling environment. They are useful in understanding how a schedule is progressing, including jobs that are completed, running, and waiting to run.
