Another leading magazine, Yachting Monthly, said of her "she wasoutstanding, a good all rounder and a worthy winner."Westerly Cirrus is a four berth glass fibre fin keel sailing cruiser for those who want to cruiseleisurely, or race, and have enough space below to enjoy life aboard with their families inmaximum comfort.

Choice of engine. A long shaft6 h.p. or 9! h.p. outboard can bemounted on a sliding transombracket. An inboard Volvo PentaMD1 diesel or 6 h.p. Vire petrolengine can be installed. Bothare fitted with remote controls andelectric start with 12 volt battery.

The maincabin has a dinette which con-verts into a wide berth and whichcan be used as a chart table. Thesink. stove space and ice boxare opposite. Windows are ateye level when the dinette is in useand a quarter berth acts as a seatfor lounging. Six feet headroommakes life aboard comfortable.but if you do knock your head. thefoam backed vinyl headlinersoftens the blow as well as help-ing to eliminate condensation andbeing easy to keep clean.A door separates the two cabinsor closes off the marine head.Opposite this a hanging spacekeeps clothes in good order. Inthe forward cabin there are twofull length berths with lockersunder. Good headroom makeschanging easy.
