CIPD Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice About the programme The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the awarding body for qualifications in the field of HRM(Human Resource Management). The Certificate in Human Resource Practice is a Level 3 qualification and is thefoundation course in the CIPD’s library of HR qualifications. This course is the starting point if you want to develop yourskills, knowledge and career in HR. Who is it aimed at? The course is relevant if you are currently working at the level of Personnel Assistant, Administrator or Officer and your roleinvolves providing support for key aspects of the personnel function. It is also appropriate if you are completely new to oraspiring to a career in HR/personnel, if you are an Owner/Manager of a small business or a Line Manager who wishes togain the same level of personnel skills as practitioners at this level.
