As the parent or legal guardian of _________________________________________, at the 2009 Nevada State Finals, I do hereby agree to abide by the rules and regulations, directives and provisions for winners and contestants as set forth in the official Cinderella Staging Handbook, International Productions & Publications, Inc, AND THE Nevada State Cinderella Pageant. I agree to hold International Productions & Publications, Inc., Sam’s Town Hotel and/or the International & Nevada State Cinderella Girl Scholarship Program & Pageant, its directors and staff members harmless of damages or liabilities due to theft, accident or injury during or resulting from any child's participation in the 2009 Nevada State Finals. I also accept the responsibility for the regulation of hours of personal activities of the participant. I understand and agree that should an act of God (hurricane, fire, tornado, or any other natural disaster) cause the cancellation of the 2009 Nevada State Finals, that said event will be cancelled without benefit of any refund - however the state finals will be rescheduled at another time and location. I also confirm that all of the enclosed information and forms are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief, including birth date and city of residence. Every participant has the opportunity to place one or more photos (additional charge of $10 for each additional photo in the same ad) in the program book on their very own advertising pages, showing the different sides of their personality and their community backing. A special "CINDERELLA COVER GIRL" for all age groups will be selected from the photos appearing on these additional advertising pages. In addition to the distinct honor of appearing as one of the Cover Girls, as a winner you will receive an Official Cinderella Cover Girl Crown, Banner, Custom Trophy and Entry Fees to the International Finals. Any participant submitting a ½ page or Full page will be eligible for the State Cover Girl title (regardless of the number of pages sold). No pictures permitted on ads smaller than ½ page. Black & White or Color Photos can be used but will be printed in black & white for the program book. Judging will be from the original photograph. It can be any size photograph but not larger than 5 x 7. The “COMMUNITY SPIRIT AWARD” will be presented to the young lady selling the most advertising in the official souvenir program book.

Black & White or Color copy or pictures may be submitted, but ad will appear in black and white. Ads submitted without artwork or layout will be designed at the discretion of the Cinderella Offices.

Please make your checks out to “Cinderella Girl” (this is an advertising write off for you) and attach your ad copy. Either give this to the participant to turn into the State Office or mail it directly to:

ELECTRONIC FILE Advertisements may be submitted on disk 3.5-inch floppy or CD-ROM. Electronic files are preferred over hard copy. A jpeg file is probably the best format although a PDF file is good as well.

High-resolution scanned images must be at least 300 DPI (dots per inch). All linked artwork and fonts must be included with artwork files, and a proof printout must accompany disk.

Include address, phone and name of contact knowledgeable about file.

1. CINDERELLA GIRL SORORITY : All Cinderella Girls are invited to participate in the Cinderella Girl Sorority – see that particular Handbook for details. Certificates will be given out in each division for girls who have participated this year in the Cinderella Girl Sorority Program. For those girls completing the 12 month process each year they will be given an “Special Cinderella Charm” to add to their French Charm braclette. The first year will be a “Cinderella Slipper” . There will be a different charm for each year of participation.

2. GAS CREDIT – If you get your entry and total monies due (except for advertising if you’re doing that) in by April 15, 2009 you will get an additional $50.00 off your entry to use for Gasoline. THIS ONLY APPLIES TO ANYONE LIVING OVER 120 MILES FROM LAS VEGAS

3. A “SCORESHEET TALENT SHOWCASE” will be held on Sunday June 14th, 2009 at Sam’s Town in the afternoon. See enclosed entry form. This is the same stage you will be competing your preliminary talent on so it gives you an excellent time to practice your talent onstage prior to Cinderella State. So plan on coming and performing your talent then. I will have expert judges to give you critique to fine tune your talent even better for state.

4. CAMEO GIRL will be Sunday Evening before Cinderella State and has it’s very own separate judges, different than Cinderella State Judges – It’s an opportunity to see how your daughter looks under the actual lights she will be competing on later in the week and possibly get one of those prestigious Cameo Crowns and Banners.

5. STATE DRESS – All participants are asked to have the Official Nevada State Blue & Yellow Sundress. This will be worn at Orientation and at Rehearsal, as well as if you proceed onto the International Finals. Material & patterns are available at preliminarys and by emailing me or calling me to mail it to you. (Gwendolyn @ 702-255-9387) or cinderellanevada@cox.net. If you choose not to do this – it is okay, just wear what you want then. (It will not be held against you)

6. AAMTC (America’s Amateur Modeling & Talent Competition) will be held on Memorial Day Weekend May 23, 2009 and will include a Mom’s category – basically a 26 year old and older category. Also Boys can compete in any of the talent categories in the same age groups for Talent, but in Modeling there will only be two age categories–See Entry Form.

7. TALENT TIMES ARE 2 ½ MINUTES MAX – 2 Minutes is recommended. You will be disqualified from Top 5 and Overall if your talent is even 1 second over.

8. Make sure you bring extra copies of your talent CD with you. (3 copies is best) If you are recording music from your computer or wherever – record it slower as fast dubbings are hard for CD players to read. Use a professional to do your recording, after all you are spending lots of time and money on your talent, so do a good job with the music too. It actually does affect the judging process.

9. ADVERTISING – You can earn your way to State by selling additional advertising for the program book as well as qualify for the coveted Cover Girl Winner in each Age group. NOTE PHOTOGRAPHS for all Avertising Ads CANNOT BE OVER 5”X7”.

10. SECRET SISTER – You’ll be given a name in early June from your own Age Division, so don’t forget to get inexpensive gifts for her. (limit 6 gifts i.e. something for interview, casualwear, partywear, talent/tot personality, Grand Finals and the meeting of your secret sister meeting.

11. PHOTO SIZE – For Cinderella your photo can still be black and white or color but it now needs to be 4”x 6”. This should be a lot easier to obtain from photographers.
