We created a light hearted, cheeky and sexy mode of address. We did this through lighting, costume and facial expressions. The soft lighting appears to wrap around the artist which produces less shadows or softer shadows making the objects clearer and stand out. Most of the shots are eye level so as we don’t want the camera to do the talking but the characters and the song. We have created and established shots and scene which match the feel of the song. Choosing a up beat and High tempo song meant we could not have long winded scenes dragging the song down so we demonstrated it by doing it at the very beginning with quick short shots which looks like its showing a short trailer of the music video which will get the audience interested.

We had decided to represent our artist as an American. To show he is from America we have had a main theme through out all the three products. We did it through mise en scene through computer wallpaper or dancers costume we maintained the American theme.

America is not the only representation of the artist, Cincere. We also represented him as a relaxed, happy and hard working as he is seen in the office where he is doing his work as a photographer. This shown through out all the 3 products the music video shows it physically him taking pictures and editing on his iMac but on the paper products His face is cut out on white as if been flashed out on a camera.

We incorporated a range of different themes into the music video as well as the other two products. The main two was location and relationship. We showed location through Mise en scene and connoted relationship through the narrative. The whole storyline is about a fairy tale, dreamy relationship between a girl, the artist and the feature artist.

If you see all three products at the same time they look effective in the way they can be seen as from the same artist. The combination is very similar making it easier to spot and understand who the artist is, what they do, genre of music the produce and information on the album and artist. Similar colour scheme, typography and images are used throughout all three products. The colour pallet is similar throughout the three products of blue, white and red. The performance are the shots that are the ones that have the white background. The simple colour pallet on the music video allows the target audience to see the similarity from all three products. The three products are bright, bold and stand out and that is not lacked in anyway in any of the three products.

The three products should have a similarity visually. The magazine advert has very similar features and images to the digipack. By having the exact typography and images of the American flag and Cincere face remind the consumers of the album cover and if they have not seen it before it will be easier to find the album. This shot of Cincere is in all three products. It is put in an important place were everyone can see and remember which is the title shot. Even with this shot it has an American flag and the colour pallet is white, blue and red. We have used the same imagery of the American flag on all three products. Branding Cincere as a R”n”B artist is hard as the music industry is so competitive but with the iconic imagery and distinctive characters/artist which are anchored and introduced quite strongly. We have used clear and simple typography and font to brand our artist. The swirls almost bleeding/flowing off the letters can reflect Cincere music which flows and him in general the way it connects to the letter is the way he knows he can connect to people life and situation.

Throughout the whole process we have thought about how we would link the three products together. I have concentrated on the paper products; Digipack and The Magazine advert. Location and the artist are the main imagery to brand our artist. With R”n”B artist they are branded through themselves hence we have stuck to the conventions and used Cincere and location to brand him.
