He is a reporter, and Jenny's husband . He loves his family, and friends.

This story takes place in Florida. It begins in 1998 when Jenny and John get married . They end up in a small house, but move into a bigger house with a pool in Allentown Pennsylvania.

This story is mainly about Marley.The Grogan family gets a dog because they are not ready for kids , but need a new family member. About two years later they have a kid , and one year later they have another boy ,and move to a bigger house in Pennsylvania for john's promotion . When they go on fun trips Marley usually ruins them but sometimes he is a very good dog. He is scared of thunder storms. They do so much more funny ,good ,and cute things that happen.
