Program Overview
This terminal degree in the eld of Business Administration
is for individuals wishing to pursue a career in areas such
as teaching, research, consulting and upper-level businessand/or university administration. CIBU is one of the few
ACICS approved universities for the DBA program in the
United States. Only a small percentage of qualied students
ever achieve this signicant level of success.
The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) offers one of
the most distinctive doctoral degree programs in America.
Oriented to current and aspiring leaders in business or other
sectors, it includes an international focus, small classes
and one-on-one interaction with highly qualied professors,
the capacity to accommodate the needs of working adults,
and a practical, applied orientation that makes it useful for
students current or expected career paths. Moreover, the
degree is affordable and can be obtained in approximately
three years of residential full-time post-bachelors degree

All other residential Doctoral coursework must be completed before starting the following Dissertation Sequence
of courses.
A minimum of 135 graduate level quarter-units (27 courses) after the Bachelors degree plus submission of a
dissertation must be completed for graduation. Students who have completed the CIBU MBA (13 courses) will
take a total of 14 more courses plus the Dissertation.
