Have you been saving and turning in your Worthington, Loma Linda, Morningstar Farms, Cedar Lake, and Natural Touch food labels for mission investment? If so, take a moment to be sure you are including what is needed. The UPC/Bar Code is what is “counted” to get credit. If we do no receive this, it’s a total waste. Gail MacLafferty, the Church’s volunteer who counts and records all the labels, says she periodically receives just pieces of the label without the UPC/Bar Code.

Each UPC/Bar Code will be reimbursed by Kelloggs at five cents each and is given to mission investment.

If your Sabbath School doesn’t collect labels, consider finding a child to turn in your labels in their Sabbath School, or you can leave them at the box provided at the Welcome Desk. g

The CIEE USA High School program brings over 1,400 international students to communities across the U.S. each year.

International students participating in the exchange are between 15 and 18 years of age, have studied English for a minimum of three years, have their own medical insurance and spending money, and have undergone a thorough personal screening and interview process. Once here, cultural immersion allows students to gain a personal understanding

of the “American way of life.” Attending American high schools and living with a host family give students unique firsthand access to American culture.

The CIEE USA High School program is looking for host families to open their homes to an international exchange student for an academic school year. Contact: Marvina Baksh CIEE Local Coordinator, (201) 962 5229, [email protected], or www.ciee.org/highschool. g
