Our Time Here

We were first drawn to the wonderful location, positioned in the countryside but within easy access of every amenity you could possibly need. After acquiring the plot, we built the house itself some 15 years ago. We think the kitchen/breakfast room is probably our favourite part of the house, where we spend the majority of our time, along with the lounge for it’s stunning views (as the name implies) over the fields and surrounding countryside. You can see for miles and as a result there is a very peaceful and tranquil atmosphere here. Whilst we love the rural feel of the property, the location is very convenient. There is a large supermarket just down the road, which is very handy. The house is also in close proximity to the A2, M2 and the fast train to London, making travel very easy. Being situated at the end of a quiet no through road, we enjoy the quiet surroundings, and yet just a stroll away from the great local pub that others have to travel miles for. We will miss everything about this house; its views, position and tranquil atmosphere along with the wonderful warm feeling of home that it provides.

Property

Situated in a popular village setting is this most attractive, dormer-chalet style residence with three/four bedrooms, occupying a lovely position on shared private drive with gardens to the side and rear with block-paving and block paved driveway to the front. The standout feature of the property are the stunning open-field and countryside views which can be enjoyed from the main rooms and bedrooms. The internal accommodation in brief comprises; porch and hallway, lounge with French doors to the garden and stunning views, dining room which could alternatively be utilised as a fourth bedroom, well-appointed modern breakfast/dining kitchen with central island, cloak/WC, family bathroom and separate utility room. The first floor comprises; spacious landing, three bedrooms, shower room and access to ample eaves storage space. There’s also an integral single garage accessed via the driveway. Oare is a popular village close to the historic market town of Faversham and boasting some fantastic country and creek side walking and cycling routes. Oare is a friendly village community with popular Gastro Pub, nearby supermarket and well-regarded schools in nearby Faversham which has high speed rail services to London St Pancras, and direct links to the City and Victoria and access to the M2 is via J6. Faversham offers a wide variety of shopping, dining, leisure and recreational facilities. The Cathedral City of Canterbury is approx. 10 miles away where you will find a wider range of facilities.
