In Observance of Christmas and the New Year Holiday, the Rectory Office and Religious Education Office Schedule. The Rectory office will be closed Friday, December 26, 2014.
The Religious Education Staff will be out of the office Wednesday, December 17, 2014 through Friday, January 2, 2015. The Religious Education office will resume regular office hours on Tuesday, January 5, 2015. Please plan to conduct church business during the above listed days. As always in the event of an emergency contact the answering service and Father Gene will be paged and will return your call as soon as possible.
Saturdays’ 9:00AM at the Center Road Church. The
opportunity for “confession/reconciliation” should be a
primary objective of every follower of JESUS. All are
urged to celebrate this sacrament.
Everyone is offered the opportunity to contribute toward the expense of flowers that adorn our altars at both churches during Christmas and throughout the Liturgical year. Envelopes are available for “Flower Offering” at the entrance of the Churches, place your donation in the offertory collection in the name of your family or in memory of your love ones. All donations are appreciated. Mention of Christmas contributors and memorials will appear in the church bulletin unless you wish your gift to be anonymous, please note, that during Advent Season, Flowers do not adorn the altars. During Advent and throughout the Christmas season it is a beautiful custom to make a “special offering or gift” to your Church. These gifts are deeply appreciated and are used for various educational programs conducted by the Parish”, all “special gifts” of $100.00 or more will be acknowledged. Have a blessed Advent and wonderful Christmas.
There may be occasion when the rectory
and Religious Education Offices are closed
due to inclement weather. On these
“questionable” days, you may wish to “call ahead” prior to
leaving your home to verify the office is open. !!
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE!!! The Flu
season will soon be upon us. At the
“sign” of peace” some parishioners
may not wish to shake hands, but extend a nod or a
wave. We ask parishioners to accept whatever
acknowledgement at the “sign of peace.

WHEN YOU ARE HOSPITALIZED.
Please be aware that there are now
stricter legal and ethical guidelines regarding, the dis-
semination of patient, information from hospitals to
churches and clergy. In addition. today’s shorter hospi-
tal stays make timely pastoral visit difficult at best.
Therefore, if you have occasion to be hospitalized and
desire pastoral support, you or a family member should
do two things. Notify the rectory of the hospitalization
as soon as possible. Also, upon admission to the hospi-
tal you will be asked if you desire to have your religious
affiliation noted as part of your medical record. Please
state both your denomination and parish. If you fail to
do either of the above, your parish priest may have no
way of knowing your needs.
