IT IS TIME TO CELEBRATE
CCCome, sing a new song to our God,
who does the most amazing things!
Now a human hand shares God’s strength;
authority rests in a Baby’s arm.
TTThe gentle power of God is openly displayed,
gracious justice is shown to the nations.
Jewish people are not forgotten,
they first witness God’s faithfulness.
Every other place on the face of the earth
now also sees God’s indomitable love.
JJJoin the celebrations, everyone,
break out into joyful applause!
Praise God with guitar and keyboard,
with flute, fiddle and pipe organ.
Join in with trumpet and drums,
to acclaim the Presence of Christ.
LLLet all the seas and oceans roar,
the land and all living things on it.
Come on rivers, clap your hands,
and mountains shout together for joy
as God comes to govern our planet
with a justice that heals the nations.

OUR CHURCH LIFE
Morning Tea following services in January -
‘At Homes’ or ‘Coffee at the Café’
There has been a tradition of not having morning tea served following Church
Services in January.
This not only gives our willing volunteers an opportunity to have a break but it also
enables members to invite other members or visitors to their homes, or perhaps to the
Forum, to enjoy a coffee and chat.
We will be continuing this tradition in January 2018
Special thanks to everyone who has been part of the Morning Tea Roster during 2017
The All Saints’ Office will close on Friday 22 December 2017
And will re-open on Tuesday 23 January 2018
Jean Young has volunteered to prepare the “Not the News & Notes” during this time.
News may be emailed to her at - [email protected], or phoned on 9446 5829.
You are asked to ensure that items reach Jean no later than Thursday each week.
NOTE! Val Chew will be doing the issue of 31 January as Jean will be away that week, so items
may be sent to Val at [email protected] or phoned to 0411 478 833
Each Christmas the Floreat Uniting Church supports the Christmas Bowl
of the World Council of Churches’ Act for Peace so our Retiring Offering
on Christmas Day as always will go to the Christmas Bowl.
For those who wish to donate by Cash, Credit Card or Cheque and receive an
official tax deductible receipt, individual envelopes are available from the Office,
or on the Foyer Table. Contact: Bob Sumner Phone: 9387 5814
