REDSNAPPERIMAGES Annual Photographic Award
The competition was launched at the start of the Spring Term 2013. The
competition is open to all students from both the Junior School and the
Senior School. The aim of this new initiative is to encourage young
people to develop an interest in photography.
Background
The competition has been made possible by the generosity of Old
Waconian, Tony Tough (Class of 1972) who developed a life-long interest
in photography during his time at Cheadle Hulme School as a boarder.
After leaving Cheadle Hume School, Tony went on to study Civil
Engineering and has lived and worked all around the world as an
engineer.
2013 Theme
’Landscapes’
Judging
The judging panel included the Head Lucy Pearson, Acting Head of Art Sally Craig and Old Waconian Tony Tough, who has kindly funded this prize.
