MS. BOBO Cambridge scientists have been
exploring Earth Science this nine
weeks! They learned about the
structure of the Earth, plate
tectonics, and conducted a lab
about the density of Earth’s
layers! Cambridge students are
currently studying the rock cycle
and how the landscape of our
planet is constantly changing.
Coming up: We will be
investigating the History of Earth
next and how living things change
over time.
MR. EHRLICH Wow! The Cambridge learners have been awesome in Civics this year. We have covered so much already from the Enlightenment influences all the way through our Constitution, the three branches of government and law. Highlights include the student's “break-up letters” to the King, their newscast on the legislative branch and creative Judicial branch brochures! I am also extremely proud of their fantastic scores on all tests so far!
Coming up: After we return from break, we will learn about Federalism, Citizenship and much more!
MRS. KENNY 7th Grade Civics kicks off with a lot
of heavy topics and the Cambridge
students have risen to the occasion!
They have tackled the big ideas
relating to the origins of American
government including separation of
powers, checks and balances, and
individual rights. They have flexed
their creative muscles, creating
artwork representative of what they
have been learning. It’s been a fun
experience getting to know the
varying talents and personalities of
all the students in class!
Coming up: We will continue
learning about the types of law and
landmark U.S. Supreme Court
Cases.

MS. LESTER Cambridge Learners are working hard on functions! We have compared functions and constructed functions to model linear relationships.
Coming up: After the winter
break we will sketch
functions from verbal
descriptions and analyze
and interpret the sketch of a
graph of a function.
MRS. WARD ELA Cambridge Learners have
been hard at work! We have
been working on our reading and
writing skills, informational and
literary text and well as
informative writing. We have
also plugged into poetry and
analyzing meaning.
Coming up: We will be arguing,
argumentative writing that is! As
7th graders we will be adding
counterclaim and rebuttal.
