Faculty/Staff NewsTatiana Jones, library cataloger, adjunct professor, and student of French language, attended a French Immersion Event in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, on April 25, 2015. Colonel Auboin led a conference at the Frontier Army Museum on the “pivotal” year 1753, and a tour of the historic sites of Fort Leavenworth in French.

Denise Carrick Hedges, director of the Center for Women’s Leadership, joined the Girls Leadership Program from the Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City at Eileen Fisher on the Plaza in Kansas City to discuss leadership and corporate philanthropy. The Eileen Fisher vision is “for an industry where human rights and sustainability are not the effect of a particular initiative, but the cause of a business well run. Where social and environmental injustices are not unfortunate outcomes, but reasons to do things differently. Where excuse are ignored and action is taken.” (www.eileenfisher.com)

All whose lives she touched are welcome. Susan’s obituary can be
