OBJECTIVE

To further my experience in the working environment and help support myself as an independent. I perform well in situations under pressure as this brings out my better attributes, whether it be as simple as a play-off game for the university soccer team or a deadline for a school project. I recently moved over to the States from England to obtain my undergraduate degree whilst playing soccer for the university varsity team.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Brass Rail Saloon & Eatery, Whitewater, WI March 2015 – Present Bouncer / Bartender University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Whitewater, Wisconsin September 2014 – Present Equipment room front desk

• Desk worker at the university’s equipment room located in the Williams Centre. My daily duties can range from setting up equipment, to using the cash register.

UW- Whitewater, Wisconsin March – May 2015 Soccer Referee

• During the spring semester of 2015 I worked as a referee across the Whitewater and Janesville area. • Involves dealing with children and young adults between the ages of 10 and 22, in a live soccer environment. • Adopting a different approach to the management of parents and supporters on the touchline. • Working in an extremely intense atmosphere that demanded particular care and level headiness. • Also progressed into refereeing higher age competitors such as club level at the University.

Bean and Brush, Manchester, England 2011-2015 Chef’s Assistant and on front of house

• My work has included tasks such as cooking, running food, washing the dishes, serving customers and more recently I have been independently in charge of the kitchen.

Young Enterprise May 2010 – May 2012 Sales Director

• I have led a young enterprise team in school and as director was in charge of ensuring that the business plan was drawn up and actions were put in place that achieved all of the business objectives.

• This manifested itself in us outperforming all other business teams under my management and guidance.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

LINCS elementary school September 2014 – Dec 2015 Lunch Buddy

• Weekly lunch meetings with a small group of children in the 3rd and 4th grade. I was paired with children deemed to have issues with concentrating and staying engaged with school work.
