Main Duties and Responsibilities

Human Resources and Learning and Development

Dedicated HR representative for specific clients. Management of the redundancy consultation process at all stages from first through to final

consultations. Including identification of those ‘at risk’ of redundancy and identifying strategies to mitigate the need for redundancies.

Leading the Human Resources team in around one hundred investigations, grievances and disciplinary hearings. Managing the process from initial investigation through to dismissal and appeal stage.

Ensuring personnel training records are maintained and certification kept up to date. Provide assistance, guidance and advice to managers on all people related issues and employment

law matters. Providing advice to managers on health and wellbeing matters Management of sickness absence. Working with Payroll department on salary reconciliations for employees who have been

underpaid/overpaid Responsible for workforce engagement both internally and in response to client needs by proactively

providing support, reviews and guidance. Management of Sodexo’s workforce engagement project involving approximately 1800 people and also for clients involving as many as 12 platforms at one time. Followed by development and implementation of action plan.

Management of projects on behalf of the Human Resources team in a number of areas such as conducting a full and comprehensive review of employee benefits. Overseeing the project from review through to implementation of change.

Allocation of managers budgets for internal rewards programme. Working in conjunction with the recruitment team by managing the recruitment process. From

selection of candidates to conducting interviews and making appointments to a variety of roles throughout the business.

Training. Supporting the Learning and Development team in the creation and delivery of new leadership training programmes to all managers across the business.

Working with the Learning and Development Team on the creation of online training modules including ‘Introduction to Offshore Life’ and ‘HSE Refresher’.

Ensuring competence assurance assessments are completed for offshore personnel. Supporting the implementation of both new and established training models to both onshore and

offshore employees. Experienced in all aspects of offshore logistics through collaboration with logistics team and supply

chain.

QHSE Team

Providing support to the QHSE team on risk assessments, audits, safety statistics and incident alerts. Implementation of ‘Wellness & You’ Nutritional programme on offshore client units. Production, promotion and implementation of safety campaigns Delivery of team safety briefings. Implementation of safety systems. Delivery of Safety leadership training courses

Well Track Project Management

Creation, implementation and project management of ‘Well Track’, Sodexo’s multi-award winning wellness program designed for the offshore workforce.

Developed the project from a concept through to award winning product. Leadership, inspiration and motivation to 60 participants in the project. Financial management of the Well Track project Purchasing and supply chain for the project Responsible for the project marketing and promotion
