Escape from the city and enjoy a beautiful collection of Australian plants at the Australian National Botanic Gardens, located 15 minutes from Barton. The kids will love roaming around the foggy forest while exploring nature, never knowing what’s around the next corner to explore.

We recommend the children’s discovery walk- ‘Who lives Here?’

This is the prefect walk to introduce the little ones to the gardens, a fun 30-minute activity designed for children up to 8 years of age.

POD PLAYGROUND AT THE ARBORETUM

We will be operating arts and craft for kids during the Christmas period. Kids can enjoy painting, colouring in and writing Christmas ‘Wish List’ letters for Santa.

CHRISTMAS LETTERS

December 22 and December 23 9am – 12pm & 3pm – 5pm

Kids will have the opportunity to write their last-minute wish list for Santa at Hotel Realm. We will have a ‘North Pole Express’ mailbox available, all letters will be sent express to Santa’s workshop before he takes to the skies on Christmas Eve.

The Exhibition is now open at the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia and everyone is able to enjoy this experience. There will be 80 playable games for children and adults to play with no cost.
