Packed with festive traditions and delicious food, book an indulgent short break over Christmas.

Christmas Eve Arrive to hot mulled wine and mince pies before we escort you to your luxurious accommodation, with rooms overlooking Ullswater and suites full of Christmas delights! We’ll welcome you into our magical surroundings where you can enjoy a festive afternoon tea, light lunch, or just a hot mulled wine. Book your dinner for the evening featuring our indulgent festive menu in our traditional country house Regency Restaurant. Then start your night with cocktails and canapés as you enjoy the company of family and friends. Transport will be available to take you to midnight mass or to your room for a relaxing nights’ sleep.

Christmas Day Wake up to a leisurely breakfast accompanied by a glass of Buck’s Fizz before enjoying our magnificent surroundings or lounging in front of our open log fire. The festive feast will start at 12:30pm where all guests will be served a set traditional five course meal followed by coffee and mince pies. The Queen’s speech will be showing in our library before it is set up for all your nostalgic and traditional Christmas Day family games. Your evening will start off with a glass of champagne before we serve an informal dressed buffet with light musical entertainment.

Boxing Day Get ready for the day with a hearty Cumbrian breakfast as you brace yourself to explore an area of outstanding natural beauty. We can arrange a spectacular Ullswater steamer experience and packed lunch as you embark on a voyage across Ullswater Lake, perfectly ending back at Leeming House with piping hot mulled wine, hot chocolate, and mince pies upon your return. Or if you’d prefer, spend a more relaxing day by the open fire enjoying an indulgent brunch.
