• Korea was located on a peninsula that sticks out of the Asian mainland towards Japan, they say it is as big as Utah.
• Very mountainous, limited Farmland.• Korea developed isolation from other
lands because their mountains and seas acted as barriers.
• Climate is very hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

weakened and rebel officer, Wang Kon took over, started Koryu Dynasty
• Lasted for 4 and 1/2 centuries (935-1392)• This centralized government was split
into 2 groups: aristocrats and the rest of the population
• Nobles had lots of land and there was barely any left for everyone else
