Announcements
Church : 1. We rejoice and celebrate with Kenneth, Flora and Carol for their testimonies
and baptism today. We would like to welcome them into our CACV Family. Please stay behind and celebrate together for this special day.
2. The church will visit Adare Aged Care on 28 April, Sunday. Those who want to join the visitation can contact Kitty Ko for details.
3. Church Leaders’ Retreat will be held on 18 May, Saturday at Wycliffe Retreats. Please reserve your time to participate.
4. Polly Wong's father passed away on 13 April. The Funeral Service will be on 25 April in Hong Kong. Pray for our Lord's comfort upon the family and the funeral arrangement.
5. Thank you for brothers and sisters who attended the church sharing meeting on 31 March. We had shared and reported on the following matters:
The new arrangements for the English Service and it will be extended for another 6 months.
The Pastoral Search Committee has received three applications for the English Pastor position. Let us continue to pray for God’s guidance on the process.
The Financial Team has shared CACV's current financial situation and the projected short fall in the next 2 years. Please continue to pray for God’s provision and us having the faith in Him.
Prayer Items Pray for the needs of the world, our country and our community
o Pray for the upcoming Federal Election that God will appoint his servants. o Pray for God's comfort and protection upon those were hurt and affected by the
terror attack and natural disaster. o Pray for wisdom and stability for governments around the world. Pray that the
gospel will be preach over the world and everyone can live in peace. Pray for revival among the churches which would become salt and light in the world.

Pray for C&MA and our International Worker o Thank God that Harry Ng has renewed their driving license. Pray for their ongoing
community center ministry and the upcoming monsoon season. o Pray for the Alliance Youth Australia Mission Exposure Trip to Cambodia 2019. o Pray for safe arrival and adjustment for Kim in South-East Asia. Pray also for her
initial visa, accommodation and team bonding with the other C&MA workers. o Pray for our International Workers: Susanna in Thailand, the Bury family in Peru,
Yakim and Grace who are in Sydney for home assignment and study, Brother Yee and Candy in West Africa, Gary, Jayne and their family in East Asia, Dr. Harry and Faith in Cambodia, Steve and Lyn Cook for Muslim resource, Dr Daniel Shayesteh and his ministry “Exodus from Darkness”.
Pray for the needs of our Church o Pray for God’s wisdom to plan and implement the new English Service and Young
Family Fellowship. Pray also for our need of additional space. o Pray God's guidance for the search for a fulltime English Pastor. o Pray for the Baptism candidates that their faith in Jesus will continue to grow and
strengthen. o Pray for the small groups and fellowships that we might support, serve and care for
one another. Pray that we can include and welcome new comers into our church fellowship.
o Pray for the ongoing Food Ministry on the last Sunday of every month. Pray that there will be opportunities to share the gospel and God’s love with our neighbours.
o Pray for the Adare Aged Care Sunday visitation on 28 April. Pray that brothers and sisters will be able to share God's love and the gospel to the residents.
o Pray for all the young people fellowship: Reverb, YYA and Timothy Fellowship. Pray that they will grow in knowledge and faith in the Lord.
o Pray for God’s comfort and healing upon those brothers and sisters who are unwell or have special needs.
