We head firstly to Dewsbury market to spend some time before travelling on to The Mill which is the UK’s biggest retail mill with 4 huge floors of fashion, furniture homewares and gifts at permanently discounted prices of 30% and more from high street prices. There is a lift to all floors. Along with the retail therapy a two course meal with tea/coffee is included.

Fri 16th June Guisborough, Lion Inn for lunch & Helmsley A morning coffee stop at Guisborough then travel on to The Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge, the highest point on the North Yorkshire Moors with breathtaking views over the valleys of Rosedale and Farndale for a two course lunch. Owned and

run by the Crosslands family since 1980 this is also a very popular tour. After lunch carry on to the lovely village of Helmsley.

traditional shops and sophisticated arcades. Then carry on to the popular Mainsgill Farm which as well as a superb range of meats, pies, sausages,

Travel to Millstones where lunch is served at appromimately12.15. After lunch time to browse the gift shop before the resident entertainer takes the stage to provide an afternoon of themed entertainment to include music for dancing, sing-a-longs and a game of bingo. A morning call to Thirsk a busy little market town which was the home of author James Herriott then travel on to Helmsley the only market town in the North Yorshire Moors National Park. Lunch here is fish and chips, tea bread and butter at Scott’s restaurant followed by an ice cream. Travel on for an afternoon stop at Stokesley before the return journey. £22.50 per head

shop. From here we travel to The White Heather in Kirkbride for a two course lunch followed by tea and coffee. Afterwards head for some retail therapy at The Gretna Shopping Outlets. £25.00

The exhibition celebrates the role that Marks & Spencer has played in People’s lives for over 130 years and tells the M&S story from market stall to Penny Bazaar to international retailer. Enjoy a guided tour and expert talk

with an M&S Archivist. Afterwards time in Leeds centre. £15.00 per head

AS OUR PRICES ARE CALCULATED ON FULL COACHES YOU MUST ADHERE TO THESE CONDITIONS, AS NO EXEPTIONS CAN BE MADE.

First please telephone to enquire about availability. A provisional booking will then be made and held for four weeks pending receipt of a £5.00 per head non returnable deposit. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. It is essential that you keep the office informed of any changes of numbers in your party, at any time, after making your booking. If deposits are not received within the four week period the places may be re-sold. Payment - by cash, cheque or debit card. (credit cards incur a 2% charge) Debit card payments will incur a 0.82% charge on payments over £100.00. There is no charge for payments under £100.00. Cheques should be made payable to Chris Cooper Travel Ltd. Upon receipt of your deposit a booking confirmation will be issued showing the date of the trip, the deposit received, the balance remaining and the balance due date, usually four weeks prior to departure, or less if there is a short lead to the excursion. This confirmation should be returned along with your balance by the due date. This will then be receipted and returned to you with your seating allocation and pick up points and times if available. If not available these will be informed as soon as possible. Pick up points should be kept to a maximum of two, unless a full coach is needed for your group. After this date we regret that refunds cannot be given for cancellations, unless the places can be re-sold. For excursions including a meal you will be sent a menu choice list, where necessary, to be completed by your group members and returned. If any of these outings appeal to your group, but the advertised date is unsuitable please telephone and let us know. We may be able to arrange additional excursions. Should you have a group large enough to fill a coach, and any of these outings are of interest to your group it may be possible for you to choose your own date.
