Note From the Director One of our callings in the CHP is to explore fundamental questions together. One such question especially relevant to you in the honors program is this -- How do we pursue excellence in our studies and our work without losing our soul and part of ourselves in the process? This Thursday evening, Dr. Elizabeth Corey of Baylor University will be addressing this important question. Shes very well-suited to do so. In addition to being a fine teacher and scholar and a one-time aspiring musician, Dr. Corey is also a wife, a mother, and a dedicated member of her church community. Ive heard her speak before and can promise that shell provide much food for thought in her talk. The Philosophy Club will host a lecture by Professor Ted Davis on his recent research on Robert Boyles philosophy of religion next Wednesday, April 3 at 4:30 p.m. in Boyer 430. If our application is accepted, it will mean that for the first time ever the CHP would have dedicated space on campus to use for both aca- demic and social purposes. It would also mean that a group of female CHP students would be able to live together in the Woodland House next year.
