Why attend?This program enables practitioners to recognizeand analyze key changes and trends in the fieldof special education law in Massachusetts. Itfocuses on emerging issues surrounding casesthat involve children with autism. It alsoaddresses new guidance regarding theidentification of children with learningdisabilities and highlights a series of new federalcourt and BSEA decisions issued over the pastyear. You gain indispensable knowledge aboutthe current state of special education law.

This program assumes a basic understandingof special education law and providesexperienced attorneys with a summation of newdevelopments, emerging trends, and commonissues in special education. Special attention isgiven to practice before the BSEA, Section 504 ofthe Rehabilitation Act, and new Massachusettsand national trends.
