You should consider a community college.Community colleges, such as Belmont College, represent a great educational opportunity for students without sinking below a mountain of debt. With small class sizes, convenient scheduling options, and committed faculty members, community colleges are a smart choice for students.

Belmont College is close to your home.Belmont offers credit and non-credit programming at the Main Campus in St. Clairsville, Ohio. The college also has off-campus locations in Cadiz and Woodsfield, Ohio as well as convenient online classes.

Take advantage of a flexible schedule.Community colleges are convenient! You can attend full-time or part-time and schedule your courses around home and work commitments.

Prepare for transfer to a four-year college. Many community college graduates often decide to transfer and complete their bachelor’s degrees. Planning in advance will help ensure that your credits will transfer toward your degree at the four-year college you plan to attend.

Get ready for your career. If you want to enter the workforce sooner, you can earn a certificate or degree in a career-oriented field, such as Nursing, Early Childhood Education, Firefighting, Welding or Engineering Technology.

Academic Degrees.Choose Belmont.

Making Belmont College a part of your education is a first step in creating a solid foundation for you to build your future on.

Belmont is, and will remain a place of exceptional learning where great things happen.

You can save money.Costs to attend community colleges are generally much lower than the cost to attend four-year colleges.

With the cost of higher education increasing and thecontinual amount of debt that students are incurring

rising, many people have begun to take notice of the value of community colleges.

While all colleges and universities will have to continue to

address the constant concerns regarding cost and student debt, the certainty remains that community colleges exemplify value

in higher education. By providing affordable educational offerings, community colleges can prepare students to enter successful careers or transfer to

four-year institutions to complete a bachelor’s degree.

We want to make the Belmont College experience affordable for every student. The college has a long list of available scholarships awarded by the Financial Aid Office to our students. Learn more at:

www.belmontcollege.edu/scholarships.

I chose Belmont because receiving scholarships allowed me to complete my degree with
