Rock-Star Employees!

I am proud to be a cardinal everyday, but even more so today after the great act of kindness I experienced this morning by two of our staff members:

I was heading south on HWY 124 after dropping my girls off at day care (between Parkview and Leinenkugel’s) when I noticed one of our district trucks and another car pulled over with their hazard lights on. I could see two adults gathered around another adult who was sitting on the ground. When I arrived on the scene Gary Liedl and Sarah Steffes were assisting another lady who was sitting on some steps and talking to them. I was made aware that the lady was laying on the sidewalk when Gary and Sarah arrived and Sarah had called CFPD to report the incident. The compassion and thoughtfulness that Gary and Sarah showed for a complete stranger as so many others just simply drove by was absolutely remarkable.

Gary and Sarah - hats off! I am glad you are part of our team!
