THOUGHTS FOR THE FUTURE PDG products are greatly valued by HEP and wider community Based on our experience at IHEP: Book is useful as reference, but nowadays the website is often used instead Booklet used much more frequently by physicists, often seen on desks and at research group meetings May be better use of resources to reduce or drop the printed Book, have full Reviews and Data Listings online (website + pdgLive + App) and only print Booklet?

THOUGHTS FOR THE FUTURE From journal point of view: Publishing RPP is good for us (high citations), but costs a lot (in finance and time / manpower) Booklet is much cheaper to produce and ship If journal publication needed for citations / funding, print / publish Book with Reviews only? Publisher involvement earlier in process of producing RPP may be helpful to iron out technical / editing issues (fonts, PostScript etc)
