called Stern-Halma, as a copy an older American game called Halma. 

The Stern in Stern-Halma means star in German. They named it after the star shaped.

The name Chinese checkers made in the United States. To make more money Bill and Jack Pressman started calling it Chinese checkers.

How to Play Chinese Checkers

To play Chinese Checkers you need 2 or more people.

This is not like checkers, you do jump, but you don’t eat. You can jump multiple times over your pieces and your opponents’, too.
