Where I Live

I live in the Changchun City, the capital of Jilin Province. It locates in the north-east of China. It has the similar climate as Chicago.

Where I LiveThis is my apartment.China have 1.4 billion people, so we need lot of big apartments.And the apartments are private.

Where I liveI play in here.We have a big fountain,at summer it will work! If we tired we can sit down and watch the fountain!

Where I liveI always ride bicycle with my friends around here, and play soccer on the lawns.Too many cars running on the street, so riding outside on the street is seriously prohibited by mom and dad!

Dumpling’s Origin

• Chinese invented dumpling about 1,800 years ago. It’s a traditional food loved by Chinese. They look like the golden ingots---yuan bao, which was used during Ming Dynasty for money.

How to cook dumplings?

Ingredients• Dumpling dough

• 3 cups all-purpose flour

up to 1 1/4 cups cold water

Filling500g ground pork or beef40ml soy sauce1 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper, or to taste50ml oil green onion, finely minced500g finely shredded celery2 slices fresh ginger, finely minced

The Great WallAs the capital of China, Beijing still has the Great Wall. In ancient years it was used to defense their enemy! It still there thousands years ago. And people built this use hands and wheelbarrow!

The Forbidden CityThis is where the king lived. The palace is already 400 years old! People build this using woods , rocks and even gold!
