Up until now, the number of people who regularly participate in swimming has reached some 100 million and the number of professional swimmers who have registered with the Chinese Swimming Association has reached a notable increase than that in the past.

1. To encourage exchanges among national federations;

2.To boost the transfer of knowledge:

a) Providing with necessary assistance for both coaches and athletes in developing countries;

b) Improve the professional level of coaches, judges and supporting staff.

3. To give more support to Asian member federations to accelerate the development of water polo and synchronized swimming in Asia;

4. To provide with necessary financial support to member federations especially those in developing countries, meanwhile setting up an effective financial monitoring system.
