    Alignment of chillers

    Trench crossing and Poor access tothe Chillers area leads to slip, tripand fall to the operatives causeminor injury. Unauthorised entry tothe area leads to accident, damageof equipment.

    Unsafe and un calibratedinstruments leads to electrical shockor mechanical hazard which leads toelectrical shock injury, impact andproperty damage.

    Electrical shock hazard leads toburn injury and adversely cause tripand falls lead to major injury.

    Poor alignment or balancing of thechillers in the foundation leads tovibration and noise cause irritation tothe workers in and around.

    Poor method of balancing the plantleads to minor cut injuries to theoperatives.

    Prevent unauthorised entry to chillers area

    Ensure trenches are closed around the chillersarea or provided appropriate trench crossingbridge.

    Ensure that all the testing equipments arecalibrated, certified and safe to use for theintended purpose.

    Ensure that all the operatives are competent to

    handle the system. Having proper PPE.

    Ensure that all the operatives, engaged in the job

    activities are briefed about the Job Specific Riskand the required precautionary measures that tobe adhere prior commencement of the job.

    Ensure that all the operatives are competent to

    handle electrical supply and work with the

    electrical DBs.

    Ensure that the competent electrical supervisor

    shall be closely monitoring.

    Ensure appropriate tools and methods are used

    for alignment. All the operatives are provided earplug or ear muff.
